A lack of clear goals and plans to achieve those goals, is often the missing ingredient holding you back from making positive changes in your life.

In Balance consultants have been trained to recognise what makes each individual tick, and with the right blend of executive support, vision and strategies can provide executive coaching and clinical supervision to maximise your motivation, productivity and help you focus on achieving your goals.

Whichever therapy you require, from counselling, to NLP, to weight managment, we believe that to match our skills to your requirements takes time and trust. It is important, as in any business, that you get the right person to suit you.

In Balance consultants and counsellors use a combination of techniques; from Cognitive Behaviour, Person-Centred to Analytical to work with you.

Counselling is effective for many issues including; bereavement, bullying, relationships, couples and family counselling, phobias and fears, confidence issues and non-specific depression.

Eating Disorder

‘Eating disorder’ refers to when a person uses food as a coping mechanism to suppress emotions. Eating disorders are usually classified as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, orthorexia or binge eating disorder in accordance with the symptoms. The impact is far deeper than weight/image concerns.

In Balance has several experienced therapists who specialise in eating disorders. Working with food diaries, cognitive behaviour exercises, and counselling techniques, recovery is not a quick fix and can take up to 18 months for clients to implement and sustain the lifestyle and cognitive changes necessary.

We also support the parents, carers and families who are affected by the impact of ED.
