The In Balance Team
In Balance also employs a multi-faceted team of consultants to work on a variety of projects.
Staff include; counsellors, NLP practitioners, behaviour specialists, nurses, first-aiders and youth workers.
Analytical and Cognitive Counsellor
Before setting up In Balance Karen ran her own successful therapy practice for many years. She offers therapy for a broad range of issues from stress, confidence and bereavement, to lifestyle and relationship problems.
A highly experienced counsellor, she has 20 years working with victims of rape and sexual abuse within a range of settings, from Cambs Constabulary, to School Counsellor.
Karen also specialises in working with Eating Disorders and has been at the forefront of this field in Peterborough, jointly setting up the first self-help group over 10 years ago.
Karen also has a wealth of experience in design and marketing, having run her own design practice, KJ Design, for many years, whose clients included Thomas Cook and Bauer.

Corporate and Educational Consultant
Before setting up In Balance in the corporate sector, Trev ran his own successful private practice for over 15 years. He has a background in industry, security and the military to draw upon. He has seven years experience as Staff Support Counsellor in the NHS sector and over 10 years working in local government, council and schools. Trev is skilled in a wide variety of staff support services, from accident and emergency trauma counselling and corporate resolution to workplace mediation.
Trev heads up a team running the successful Behaviour Intervention Programmes within schools. Working with students to address negative behaviour and attitudes, improve their inclusion/excusion records and re-integrate back into the classroom learning environment.
He designs and implements the In Balance Training and Team Building events, covering a range of developmental needs. A dynamic presenter he is regularly invited to deliver seminars at colleges and give his views in the local press.
Trev was crowned an official "Heart Hero" by the Breakfast crew of Radio Heart FM for his charity work locally.
